Berkeley Butterfly Garden Foundation is an environmental education nonprofit dedicated to creating, restoring, and maintaining pollinator and butterfly habitat in Berkeley County, South Carolina.

Our work includes planting and preserving native host plants such as milkweed, spicebush, parsley, and dill to support monarchs, spicebush swallowtails, and other native pollinators. We teach youth and community members about gardening, butterfly life cycles, conservation, and environmental stewardship through hands-on programs, workshops, and educational activities.

The foundation supports and partners with local school garden clubs, community gardens, and youth organizations by providing resources, plants, and curriculum. We design DIY recycling garden art from upcycled materials to promote sustainable and creative gardening. We handcraft seed cakes for birds and squirrels to support year-round wildlife habitat. We are active advocates for monarch butterfly conservation through milkweed propagation and community outreach.

Our demonstration garden in Moncks Corner, SC is a Certified Butterfly Garden by the American Butterfly Association and a Certified Wildlife Habitat, maintained to national standards for public benefit and education.
